NORMATIVE TO ENJOY OF A NICE STAY AND RESPECTING THE HOUSE AND THE
The house, formerly known as Can Villacrossa, was built at the end of 16th century, and has been restored preserving it’s great achitectonical value.
Because of this, hosts have to be careful, trying that the time spent there is respectful both with the house and with it’s surroundings.
So:
- Be careful with the comsuption of water, as Fontdellops’s availability depends of the the spring’s flow.
- Do not throw away any solid waste in the sink or down the toilet. All bathrooms and the kitchen are equipped with bins to deposit any solid waste.
- Keep doors and window closed when the heating is on.
- If you go away from the chimney while is lit -when going for a walk of going to sleep- be sure that the fire is controlled.
- Be sure to keep only the necessary lights on. Energy comes from solar panels and is, therefore, limited. Be especially wary of this on cloudy days.
- Avoid the use of electric appliances that generate heat as blowers or heaters, as they consume a lot of power, for the same reason above. If you run out of power you will also run out of heated water.
- Separate waste and throw it away on the correspondant bin. Also, take it down to the dump because the garbage collection service do not reach Fontdellops.
- Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the house. When you smoke outside, take care not to throw the stub on the floor and deposit it in the proper bin.
- Respect the retteries as they are the natural habitat of several species of turtles and frogs. Also, respect the vegetation and do not take fruits from the trees.
- The use of firearms inside the precinct is strictly forbidden.
- The entry of the greenhouse is closed as it is under restoration.
- Be careful when using the equipment of the house. You will be held responsible of any damages due to missuse.
- The use of the pool is of private use. In the event of using it, respobsability will be held on the hosts alone.
To summarize, apply common sense, do not do anything you won’t at your own house and enjoy your stay.
